ZO Skin Health advice
ZO Skin Health for redness and sensitive skin
Practical, product-focused guidance built with care.
Redness and sensitive skin usually benefit from a calm, well-tolerated routine. The aim is not to add as many active products as possible, but to reduce irritation, support the skin barrier and protect the skin consistently.

Redness is not always the same
Temporary redness can be caused by dryness, over-exfoliation, weather or an intensive routine. Persistent redness, visible blood vessels, burning or inflamed bumps can also be associated with rosacea or another skin condition. Persistent or severe symptoms should be assessed by a doctor or qualified skin professional.
A calm ZO routine
1. Cleanse gently
Gentle Cleanser or Hydrating Cleanser can be a suitable base for easily irritated skin.
2. Avoid too many active steps
Pads, scrubs, acids and retinol can all have a place, but they do not need to be used at the same time. Simplify the routine when burning, flaking or increasing redness occurs.
3. Targeted support
Rozatrol is specifically positioned within ZO for visibly red skin. Suitable additional products depend on skin type, sensitivity and the rest of the routine.
4. Barrier and comfort
Extra hydration or soothing support can be useful for dry or barrier-impaired skin. Introduce new products one at a time.
5. Daily SPF
UV exposure can aggravate redness and sensitivity, so finish every morning with broad-spectrum sun protection.
When professional advice is sensible
Seek assessment for persistent redness, painful flushing, visible vessels, inflamed bumps or symptoms that do not improve with a gentle routine. Cosmetic skincare does not replace diagnosis or medical treatment of rosacea.
